Kara, Rich, and John have been a team for roughly twenty years; serving in multiple roles, and at multiple companies across the telecom industry. From the day they met, to the day they acquired RCG, they have done it all together as a team. They believe this is one of their biggest strengths.

They’ve also been lucky to work with incredible Clients, building long-term relationships that also brought a special insight, an insight that few in the telecom service industry fully understood. Kara, Rich, and John believe the biggest challenge in the telecom industry isn’t telecom; it’s the telecom department — or more correctly, the lack of one. Many modern IT Departments no longer saw the benefit in investing in telecom expertise in-house, but the industry only offered them three options: consultants, broker agents, and TEM’s. This no longer worked and kept their Clients frustrated, so they decided to do something about it.
Together Kara, Rich, and John created RCG’s Telecom Department as a Service® the first and only managed service offering designed to be a full-function, outsourced telecom department. Together with their Clients, the staff at RCG, and their strategic partners in the industry they are leading a movement to fix a broken industry and take the burden out of telecom.
