Our senior staff has years of experience in virtually every area of business communications: business phone sales, installation & service, structured wiring, telecom carrier management, high speed and internet.
Our headquarters in Franklin, TN provides us with a central location and easy access to virtually anyone in Middle Tennessee. To serve this area, we’ve built a staff of highly qualified technicians whose service territory includes Nashville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga.
Melinda Curran
President / CEO
Melinda Curran is Founder and President of Resource Communications Group, LLC – a telecommunications solutions provider based in Franklin, TN. Her entire career has been in telecommunication sales. Melinda has focused on exceeding quota and improving customer satisfaction since 1993.
Before founding RCG, Melinda worked for BellSouth and then AT&T in a variety of sales roles. Always exceeding quota and maintaining an above average retention rate within her customer base. Her experience began in the small to mid-market space where she maintained in excess of 800 account as an inside account executive. Her success in that role led to a position as an Outside Account Executive, managing 50 enterprise accounts. Melinda maintained her sales quota focusing on true solutions in the voice, data and IP arena.
Melinda received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Belmont University and she continues her education through various training offered by carriers and partners.
Kevin Burton
Director Telephone Equipment & Cabling
Kevin started in the Telecommunications Industry in 1979. Companies worked for have been United Telephone, Comdial, GTE, Palco Telecom and Quadrum Telecom all before starting his own Interconnect Business in 1991 and operating it for 16 years. In his current position he is responsible for Business Development on deployment of Telephone Systems and Cabling to support Low Voltage Applications.
David Oliphant
Director of Sales
David serves as our Director of Sales and Business Development, and brings over 20 years of experience in the technology and communications fields in a leadership role. In addition to owning his own companies, he spent 5 years in the Microsoft Dynamics/Business Solutions partner channel as a sales consultant to Partners and ISV’s. A 30 year resident of Nashville, he earned his BSBA degree from the University of Florida and grew up in Tampa. David is active in the community and serves on the Alzheimer’s Golf Tournament committee, the West Meade Swim and Tennis Club Board and was a past member of the American Heart Association Heart Walk Community committee. When he’s not in the office, you’ll find him on a sports field or in a gym cheering on his kids.
Todd Wilson
Vice President Operations
A Chicago, IL native, Todd has lived in Nashville since 1997. Todd is a graduate of LeTourneau University in Longview, TX, majoring in Business. He spent 16 years with United Parcel Service in various management positions. Todd has worked at RCG, formerly NationLink Wireless, since 2002 in a variety of roles and most currently as VP of Operations. He is married, 31 years, to his wife Deb and has 2 children, Jeff and Jennel.
Nicole Bailey
Finance Manager / HR Director
Nicole graduated from MTSU in 1992. She was married in 1994 to Andy Bailey and has two daughters, Madison and Gracen, who are 13 and 10 years old. She currently oversees the finances and human resources for RCG.
Mandy Burage
Director EVP
Mandy is from the great city of Atlanta, GA and has lived in Nashville since 2005. She attended Auburn University and graduated with a BA in Marketing. Mandy is a huge Auburn Football fan along with her new husband and beloved dog Murphy. Mandy has worked in support, sales and management at RCG and comes to work every day with a goal of making communications easy!
Eddie Hooper
Director Carrier Services Sales
With more than 20 years of management experience in technical and telecommunications procurement and management for a large energy company (Pen Coal Corporation) and a very telecom intensive healthcare company (Medscape) specializing in remote medical transcription, EMR and internet media (Medscape.com and CBSHealthwatch.com), Eddie is in tune with the needs and perspective of telecom centric customers. Having left the healthcare industry in 2000, he was employed as a Data Network Account Executive with AT&T where he delivered voice and data service solutions into the small and medium business segment and had account management responsibility for the business markets in northern and central Alabama for AT&T. Eddie has worked with RCG since 2006 and has expanded his experience to include all major carriers and continues to deliver a high level of service to RCG’s new and existing customers from the most complex to the most basic solutions.
